he blockbuster gaming season is upon us and it’s better than a birthday, Christmas, and fi nding
a tenner in the pocket of an old winter coat all rolled into one. The heady months between now and December are set to bring you some of the year’s best games: we’re talking Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 76, Just Cause 4, and many more.
That’s great and all, because you probably didn’t plan on venturing outside and facing the wretched winter weather anyway. But there’s one big
problem. With so many games on the way, how are you, a regular human with a human-sized bank account, supposed to aff ord them all?

The best way to do it all is through play and trade. Simply buy a game, then when you’re good and ready, trade it in – either
in-store or online – to get a handsome chunk of money off the
next game you purchase. You might, say, grab Shadow of the Tomb Raider, blast through Lara’s latest outing in a thrilling week of archaeological adventure, and then put the value of that game towards

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ubisoft’s latest historical epic takes place in Ancient Greece and off ers the largest sandbox in Assassin’s Creed history. If you trade it in, you could write an ode on a Grecian earn.
Soulcalibur VI Finished striking at your targets from the shadows? Now it’s time to strike at them from broad daylight with a broadsword. Grab a friend and prepare to slash the stuffi ng out of each other.
Hitman 2 Hitting your enemies over and over with swords is all well and good but maybe you’re in the mood for something with a little more fi nesse? Pick out your sharpest suit and infi ltrate GAME to bag Agent 47’s latest.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy After all that bloodshed, this gloriously nostalgic package is the perfect chaser. Activision have crammed three classic titles onto a single disc, but don’t worry – none of the games drag-on.
