The creators of The Witcher series have fi nally shed more (fl uorescent) light on their forthcoming sci-fi role- playing game, and it’s looking like it might just be another masterpiece in the making. You start Cyberpunk 2077 by


choosing your mercenary’s gender, customising their look, and picking their backstory before entering the bustling hub of Night City in a fi rst- person perspective. Your goal: do dangerous jobs for money. Night City is a hive of quasi-


legal thrills and fl at-out criminal activity. You travel this gritty world on foot or in vehicles to take on gangs, meet backstreet surgeons for gruesome hi-tech body mods, or just shop for leather jackets.


The future’s bright One early mission is to rescue a
