IN-PERSON PARENTING WORKSHOPS
Avondale Public Library, in partnership with AZ Children's Association and Maricopa County Department of Public Health will be hosting a series of parenting workshops for parents of children ages 2 – 5 years. These are free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required.

EAT, PLAY, GROW A 4-week series of fun and interactive trainings for parents of children 5 years and younger. Learn exciting physical activities to do with children as well as fun tips about healthy eating and nutrition. Participants will receive a class certificate and free gifts. Children are welcome to attend the training.

ADULT GED PREP CLASSES (AGES 16+) GED Program is designed to prepare students ages 16 and older to pass the GED exam in Math, Social Studies, Civics, English, and Science. ESL/ELAA CLASSES (AGES 16+) English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA) is designed to provide English language instruction from basic to high intermediate level students ages 16 and older. The program integrates the four components of English learning (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with job readiness skills such as resume writing and interviewing skills.
