Whether you are frying a turkey for a holiday feast or your monster wings for the big game, please discard of your used cooking oil properly, or better yet recycle it! Large quantities of used cooking oil can be dropped off at the Public Works Facility, 399 E. Lower Buckeye Road, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.


To dispose of small quantities at home remember these words: Cool it, Contain it, Trash it. Let it cool completely, pour it into a container, then place the container in your trash bin. Always scrape food and grease from dishes before washing. And NEVER, EVER pour fats, grease or oils down the drain!
