Senior Services Program The City of Avondale provides a variety of resources for seniors and those with disabilities. Enjoy daily meal service, supportive food assistance programs, exercise, activities and helpful information and resources to help you lead an active and full lifestyle!


To qualify for these programs, participants must be at least 60 years of age or with a disability. Program registration packets are available online at www.AvondaleAZ.gov/seniors or at the Resource Center.

MEALS AT THE CENTER Daily lunch offered Monday-Friday in person 11 am -11:30 am and to-go 11:30 am -12:30 pm for the sug- gested donation of $2.50


HOME DELIVERED MEAL PROGRAM Delivery of up to 7 meals per week right to your door! Provided in Avondale, Goodyear, and Litchfield Park. Includes daily participant welfare check. Call Area Agency on Aging (602) 264-4357 to proceed with intake process for supplemented meal costs or call The Avondale Community Center at (623) 333-2705 to start services paying $5 per meal.


SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAMS Commodity Boxes .......1st Monday of each month Mobile Pantry................2nd Thursday, 3rd Wednesday and 4th Thursday of each month


ACTIVITIES A Variety of Programming is offered including:
