Active Parenting: First Five Years


Your child’s first few years are so important! Learn how to make the most of them with Active Parenting: First Five Years, a four-week program for parents and caregivers of children from birth to 5 years old. Help your children start strong with skills that emphasize bonding, encouragement, and a “just right” combination of freedom and positive discipline.

Aprenda a sacar el máximo provecho de ellos con Parternidad Active: Los primeros cinco años, un programa de cuatro semanas para padres y cuidadores de niños desde el nacimiento hasta los 5 años de edad. Ayude a sus hijos a comenzar fuerte con habilidades que enfatizan el vínculo entre padre e hijo, el autoestima y come crear una combinación "justa" de libertad y disciplina positiva.

Taking Turns Toybrary


Toybrary is similar to traditional book- lending libraries, allowing families to borrow fun, functional and educational items for 2 weeks at a time.


Available every day during Resource Center hours


Above classes, workshops, and events are FREE and hosted at Care1st Avondale Resource Center. “Enhancing the quality of life in Avondale by improving and strengthening neighborhoods, fostering self-reliance and instilling pride.”
