AVONDALE YOUTH ADVISORY COMMISSION (AYAC) | AGES 13- 20 Youth have a voice in Avondale! Join the AYAC to help promote positive change in Avondale through action and involvement. AYAC helps shape the future by providing input to city leaders, planning community service projects and attending leadership conferences. AYAC meets at Avondale City Hall the second and fourth Monday of every month at 6 pm.

SUMMER TEEN EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (AGES 16 - 21) More than just a job, the AviTEMP summer teen employment program provides qualified Avondale teens with work readiness training, a paid work experience, tuition assistance and a jump start on the competition.

FREE! KIDS AT HOPE TRAINING The City of Avondale Neighborhood & Family Service Department is sponsoring a series of training sessions as part of Avondale’s designation as a KIDS AT HOPE City. These trainings are an exciting experience designed to explore the concept of KIDS AT HOPE; what it is, how it is learned, instilled, and reinforced in order to ensure that all children will have many opportunities to be successful.
