It is one of the key elements of BWML’s £3.5 million five year growth strategy that was announced earlier this year, and reflects customer feedback that stressed the demand for greater opportunities to live on water in both urban and rural settings. Managing Director of BWML, Jeff Whyatt said, ‘BWML, as a brand, has been aware of the ongoing trend for living on water for some years and we are delighted that our understanding of customer requirements alongside the strict requirements of the planning process has allowed us to convert these opportunities. ‘We want to be known as the home of planning approved residential moorings and the addition of these permissions to our marinas will shortly take our total to 700 across the BWML estate, representing 28% of our total moorings’
