locations of Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Alicante and Gran Canaria. All airport directors in Spain report directly to Echegaray, who is also an AENA Executive Committee Member, a Board Member of AENA International and a Board Member at London Luton International Airport. During his career with AENA, Echegaray
was also the Deputy Director of Palma de Mallorca Airport between 1985-1999, before becoming Director of Operations at Mexico’s Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico in Mexico between 2003 to 2004. He then returned to AENA to become the
Deputy CEO of Tenerife South Airport and from 2004 to 2006 was Deputy CEO of the Canary Islands airports. He subsequently became Deputy CEO of Barcelona-El Prat International Airport from 2006 to 2012, before becoming Director of AENA’s Spanish airports network in 2012. In his new role with ADP, Echegaray will
now manage and develop Groupe ADP’s network of 23 airports in France and around the world, reporting to the Executive Director in charge of international affairs for Groupe ADP, Antonin Beurrier.
Goh Choon Phong is new IATA Chairman of the Board The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has confirmed the appointment of Singapore Airlines’ CEO Goh Choon Phong (pictured below) to the position of Chairman of the IATA Board of Governors (BoG) for a one-year term. The appointment was confirmed at the
recent 73rd IATA AGM in Cancun, Mexico, with Goh succeeding IAG CEO Willie Walsh, who will continue to serve on the Board of Governors and the Chair Committee. Commenting on his new appointment,
Goh Choon Phong said: “It is an honour to serve as IATA’s Chairman for the coming
year. While the industry’s global profitability may be strengthening, there is more work to be done as it is not evenly spread. “Security is at the top of the agenda.
We must improve our partnership with governments to meet the many emerging threats. “Additionally, I will be paying special
attention to progressing preparations for the Carbon Offset and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), driving the modernisation of cargo processes, and increasing transaction volumes with the new distribution capability.” Goh joined Singapore Airlines in 1990 and
held senior management roles in Singapore and overseas before being appointed CEO in 2011. He was President of the 68th IATA AGM, which was held in Singapore in 2011, and has served on the IATA BoG since then. Alexandre de Juniac, IATA’s Director
General and CEO added: “I want to express my sincere appreciation to Willie Walsh for his strong support and leadership as Chairman of the IATA Board of Governors. “Willie’s insights were especially helpful
as I settled into the job of Director General.” Meanwhile, in related news IATA has
announced that the Board of Governors has agreed to appoint Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways as Chairman of the IATA BoG from June 2018 on a one-year term following Goh’s contribution.

announced global management changes at Aveda, Bobbi Brown, La Mer and Bumble and bumble from July 1 under the portfolio reporting to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Group President. The company says that following his
plan to retire, Dominique Conseil (above right), Global Brand President, Aveda will be replaced by Barbara De Laere, who has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Global General Manager, Aveda. De Laere will report to Jane Hertzmark
Hudis and will also join the Executive Leadership Team. At the same time, Peter Lichtenthal, Global Brand President, Bobbi Brown and Bumble and bumble is also retiring in January 2018. The company said: “In addition to

on special assignments until his eventual retirement. Succeeding Lichtenthal at Bumble and

FFA honours CEO Marc Puig in New York Hall of Fame New York’s Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall played host to the Fragrance Foundation of America Awards (FFA) last month, where the industry paid tribute to the industry’s creative achievements and those specifically of Puig Ceo Marc Puig (pictured above), who was inducted as the Hall of Fame Honoree for 2017. Appropriately, the Chairman and CEO
of Puig was presented with this prestige award by designer Carolina Herrera, who co-chaired the event. She was also in good company alongside
an audience that also comprised Karlie Kloss, the face of Carolina Herrera Good Girl, and Nick Youngquest and Luma Grothe – the faces of Paco Rabanne Invictus and Olympéa respectively. Commenting on the award, Marc Puig
said: “It is an honour to be recognised by The Fragrance Foundation with the Hall of Fame award. “I share this acknowledgment with the
