Baptiste Duguit set to join Lagardère TR from Dutyfly Baptiste Duguit (pictured below) is leaving Dutyfly Solutions at the end of this month to take up a new position within Lagardère Travel Retail. Thanking him for his contribution and


wishing him ‘every success’ in his new role, Dutyfly Solutions’ CEO Philippe Le Goff said: “After six years at Dutyfly Solutions as Marketing Manager and then Marketing and Sales Director, Baptiste was offered a very good opportunity at Lagardère Travel Retail. “I will take over the duties of his position


until the appointment of his successor.” Le Goff added that the company remains


at the disposal of all of its clients and colleagues where ongoing projects are concerned. Within Lagardère Travel Retail and


Dutyfly Solutions, Duguit previously managed the product offer strategy for all the company’s airline customers and was Senior Project Manager within the Aelia purchasing team. More recently his responsibilities


included the product offer, marketing strategy, account management, business development and new projects. Before joining Dutyfly Solutions he


worked in sports marketing for Havas Entertainment (advertising) and for the French brand Le Coq Sportif (sports lifestyle goods), developing experience in consumer marketing, communication tools, purchasing and sales promotion. Duguit holds an MBA from the ESSEC


Business School and played rugby at semi- professional level. (Gategroup/HNA announced it was acquiring


majority control of Servair from Air France for an enterprise value of €237.5m ($248.6m) on a 50%


basis last December, including the 50% holding held by Servair in Dutyfly Solutions. The other 50% in Dutyfly is owned by Lagardère Travel Retail–Ed).


New Chairman takes over reins at Malaysia Airports The new Director and Chairman of Malaysia Airports is YAM Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Syed Zainol Anwar Ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail, who has taken over from Tan Sri


Dr Wan Abdul Aziz, who has served in the position for the last five years. Commenting on the contribution


made by its former chairman, Malaysia Airports said: “Tan Sri Dr Wan Abdul Aziz has held the position for five years and during his stewardship has seen to the company’s significant achievements such as the successful opening of KLIA2 and full acquisition of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Turkey – as well as the opening of Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA as a catalyst to KLIA Aeropolis. “His guidance and commitment at the


Board has also steered the company towards charting its next phase of growth in Malaysia Airports’ five-year business plan Runway to Success 2020 (RtS2020) and launching of the KLIA Aeropolis Master Plan.” Adding his remarks at the end of his


tenure at the airports company, Tan Sri Dr Wan Abdul Aziz said: “I believe Malaysia Airports has the capability to continue to create value for the ever-evolving aviation landscape – way into the future. “I am also confident that it will continue

posting, Dr Kerkloh said: “European airports face major challenges today. These include the escalating capacity crunch at the big European hubs, the steadily rising costs in aviation security, the implications of structural transformation within the airline industry, and the need to cut emissions. “These issues are at the top of the agenda,


and cross-border cooperation among airports will play a key role in addressing them.” ACI said in a statement that Dr Kerkloh


is a long-standing member of the airport industry, having worked in various roles at Frankfurt and Hamburg airports, before being appointed as CEO of Munich Airport in 2002. He is a past President of the national


airport association in Germany, ADV and a member of the Executive Committee of BDL, the German Aviation Industry Association.


AENA’s Echegaray to join ADP as Director of International Aéroports de Paris (ADP) has announced that Fernando Echegaray (pictured above) is joining the company from Spanish airport operator AENA this month (July) as Director of International Operations. For the last five years and four months


Echegaray has held the position of Spanish Airport Network Director at AENA. He is currently responsible for the management and operations of 46 airports
