New valve technology training centre opens its doors


Schubert & Salzer Control Systems GmbH is pleased to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art training centre, aimed at new customers and current users of their products. This new facility at the company premises in Ingolstadt/Germany really makes an impression with its striking architecture. The heart of the building is a fully functional valve test bench. Customers, partners, plant designers and end users from around the world have the opportunity here to expand their knowledge of modern valve technology. The wide spectrum of training courses on offer, covers Schubert & Salzer’s entire range of valve technology including:


• Sliding gate valves • Ball sector valves


• Segment disc valves and segment disc orifices


• Seat valves and three-way valves • Sanitary valves • Pinch valves


• Manual valves • Positioners and controllers


Configuration, installation, commissioning, adapting to changing process parameters, service and maintenance – valve technology specialists are on hand to provide customers with the key working knowledge needed throughout the life cycle of Schubert & Salzer valves. Specialists also help users delve deeper into how to optimize processes by taking advantage of modern control valves. In addition to theory, there’s ample opportunity to get practical, hands-on experience with innovative valve technology. This also enables visitors to gain a wealth of information on the valve technology that best fits their individual needs, and discover the full range of applications for the products.


In the training centre, water is employed as a test medium. The system uses four high-performance centrifugal pumps, which deliver high-pressure


water through the pipes to the test components. The centre is also equipped with a pressure regulator system, which demonstrates how different pressure regulators from Schubert & Salzer function.


The Schubert & Salzer training centre is fitted out for all kinds of presentations with a complete range of modern media technology. In addition, participants will find a range of food and drinks at our newly renovated company bistro.

Schulungszentrum für Ventiltechnik nimmt Betrieb auf


Die Schubert & Salzer Control Systems GmbH hat ein hochmodernes Gebäude für Kundenschulungen und Anwendungstrainings in Betrieb genommen. Der Neubau auf dem Firmengelände in Ingolstadt sticht bereits durch seine auffällige Architektur ins Auge. Herzstück ist ein vollfunktionsfähiger Ventilprüfstand. Hier können Kunden, Partner, Planer und Anlagenbetreiber aus der ganzen Welt ihre Kenntnisse rund um die moderne Ventiltechnik vertiefen. Das Spektrum der Schulungen umfasst alle Bereiche der Schubert & Salzer Ventiltechnik u.a. mit

Konfiguration, Installation, Inbetriebnahme, Anpassung an veränderte Prozessparameter, Service und Wartung – die Spezialisten der Ventiltechnik vermitteln Grundwissen über alle Phasen im Lebenszyklus eines Ventils und geben darüber hinaus tiefe Einblicke in den optimierten Betrieb moderner Stell- und Regelventile. Neben der Theorie nimmt das praktische Erleben innovativer Ventiltechnik einen breiten Raum ein. Dies ermöglicht den Besuchern auch, sich über Ventiltechnik für ihre individuellen Anwendungsfälle und deren spezielle Einsatzmöglichkeiten ausführlich zu informieren.

Im Schulungszentrum wird Wasser als Prüfmedium eingesetzt, das von vier Hochleistungskreiselpumpen auf Druck gebracht und durch die Rohrleitungen und Prüflinge gefördert wird. Auch eine Druckregelanlage, die unterschiedliche Druckregler von Schubert & Salzer im vergleichenden Betrieb zeigt, gehört zur Ausstattung.


Für Präsentationen verfügt das Schubert & Salzer Schulungszentrum über alle modernen Möglichkeiten der Medientechnik. Darüber hinaus sorgt ein neu gestaltetes Firmenbistro für das leibliche Wohl der Teilnehmer.
