Pegasus Senior Living, based in Dallas, has partnered with WellQor behavioral health to bring access to mental health profes- sionals specifically trained in the needs of older adults to its communities. The part- nership will first focus on helping recovery in the wake of isolation and stress of the COVID-19 pandemic.


Newport Beach, Calif.-headquartered Clearwater Living has opened Clearwater at Sonoma Hills, in Rohnert Park, Calif. It offers 94 assisted living and memory care apartments, with floor plans including studio, alcove, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and private or shared apartments.


RCare, Inc., based in Webster, N.Y., is col- laborating with Alfred University, in Alfred, N.Y., to test its new geo-fencing system, GEO. The company created a unique in- ternship opportunity, hiring Aanu Adeloye, a senior at Alfred who is majoring in me- chanical engineering and physics and mi- noring in mathematics. His job is to work closely with RCare to reproduce on campus the situations that a resident would experi- ence in a community. In addition, RCare has launched several new products for the changing needs of the workforce during and after COVID-19: BCube Plus; an optimized Caregiver Console (CC1080); an upgraded Rugged RPhone; and a new Rapid Deploy- ment Kit designed for non-traditional acute environments.


New Perspective Senior Living, based in Minnetonka, Minn., has opened New Perspective Waukesha, in Waukesha, Wisc. It offers 128 independent and assisted living residences and Betty’s Harbor, a secure neighborhood specifically designed for those with memory loss. The design includes fireplaces, water features, and natural stone in the lobby and reception area, as well as a restaurant-style dining room, café, and pub. Other amenities include an indoor pool, movie theater, and dance hall.

Allegro Senior Living, based in Harrington Park, N.J., has opened Allegro Parkland, in Parkland, Fla. It has 175 independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments and features Allegro's signature Ensemble Memory Care program.


Brookdale Senior Living Inc., headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., and Ventas, Inc., based in Chicago, have entered into an agreement to restructure its 120 community (10,174


units) triple-net master lease arrangements. In addition, Brookdale has sold to Ventas five communities (471 units) formerly col- lateralizing Ventas loan financing in full satisfaction of the loan and will manage the communities following the close of the asset sale.


Cleveland-based OnShift has entered a part- nership with Atlanta-based First Advantage, a background check and drug screening solutions company. This gives seamless ac- cess to background check services directly

Affinity Living Group, LLC, based in Hickory, N.C., has changed its culture as part of a strategic effort to focus and empower the assisted living, memory care, and independent living communities it supports.


The company underwent a name change to ALG Senior LLC, to better reflect these operational changes.


ALG Senior LLC is supporting the essential back-office functions for its network of communities, including human resources, accounting, and public relations.
