Morrisons Foundation

Up to £25,000 Ongoing. Allow three months for a decision

Once a year, in late spring

The Co-op Local Community Fund supports communities local to Co-op branches across the UK. Projects must help a community come together to save, build, fix or improve indoor or outdoor local spaces, support the mental or physical health of a community through wellbeing activities, and/or help people reach their full potential by developing their skills. Applications must come from charities, so generally PTAs rather than schools. Use the postcode checker to make sure you qualify, then apply online at causes.coop.co.uk

Charities, such as PTAs, in England, Scotland and Wales can apply for a grant to fully fund a project that will improve people’s lives. Funding will not be given for anything deemed to be the statutory responsibility of a school, or for expeditions or overseas travel. Complete the eligibility checker and apply online at morrisonsfoundation.com/ grant-funding-request/

Blakemore Foundation

Schools can apply for a monetary donation, for anything from IT equipment to sensory gardens as well as building refurbishment. Applicants must be within AF Blakemore’s or SPAR’s trading area, which covers south east and central England as well as Wales. The Foundation also offers match funding, product donations and enables employees to nominate causes to receive funding. Fill in the online application at afblakemore.com/our-community/the-blakemore-foundation
