His innovations include using digital assets to encourage clients to book wedding entertainment during the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Managing director, Cotton Digital

Harvey is already in the fourth year of running his
marketing agency. From being unable to afford the Office365 monthly fee, he has built up an impressive client base across a range of industries in Lancashire.
Harvey now employs a team of five who have recently moved into a larger office with a view to creating new jobs over the next year.
Harvey is now keen to help other entrepreneurs follow in his footsteps, giving talks in which he shares his experiences and lessons learned.
My View WHO INSPIRED YOU?
WHO WILL YOU INSPIRE? By Dr Michele Lawty-Jones
Director, Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub
The Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub is delighted to be supporting the Sub36 feature again this year.
The calibre of the nominations spotlights the talent of our younger workforce, and the drive and aspiration that will ensure Lancashire’s future growth and productivity.
We want to ask you, who inspired you whilst you were in education, and in the early stages of your career? Did you have a clear ambition, and know what you wanted to do, or was your journey from education to work, and through your early career a bit like a snakes and ladders game?
We can all look back and identify people that had an impact on our aspirations – who gave us a lightbulb moment whilst in education, or a manager who enabled us to develop and grow in the workplace.
Lancashire businesses need to invest in their future workforce to build a robust talent pipeline – the stories that we have heard from the nominees this year
highlights the importance of managers and peers who have given self-belief and encouraged our young talent to be the best that they can be.
We want to encourage every Lancashire business to make that investment – by getting involved in careers activities and work experience to give young people insights so that they can ‘see it, to be it’ and by recruiting younger employees in the early stages of their career – through apprenticeships, or by employing graduates or people who have had a false start and not yet managed to climb that ladder. There is amazing talent out there at your fingertips.
We have listened to employers and, with partners, have developed a simple front door into a range of programmes which can enable you to get involved – join more than 250 businesses actively pledging their commitment to growing Lancashire’s talent pipeline by signing up to the Lancashire Skills Pledge.
