When you get into business sometimes you think, ‘How can anybody tell me anything about  I know our industry better than an outsider 


How many times do we go to meetings at the chamber of commerce or a trade association? Most of the time you are just listening, because you’re picking up on other people’s experiences, 


 them all yourself, learn from somebody else’s    

Businesses that come to us have questions  we are able to move obstacles from their path and help them achieve their goals, one step at 

LO:  recently are hugely positive about their businesses but quite often they haven’t got a  


Our early conversations are about really getting  Following that I say to business owners, ‘What do you want?’ and then, ‘Let’s see how the   four days a week and have Fridays off, others   


As part of the mentoring, you help the business create a handful of objectives to work towards, 


When you’re mentoring somebody for 12 hours over a period of time, you really get to know  them on a personal level, with issues they have
