Celebrating its 15th year, the Pendle Pub Walk – a 10-mile hike through Burnley and Pendle countryside – has raised £825,000 for charity. A majority stays local but 20 per cent goes to overseas causes. The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside and last year attracted a record 2,700 participants.
