WOMEN IN BUSINESS

THE RISING STARS

Who are the young businesswomen in Lancashire who truly inspire you? That was the question we posed to our readers.

We have long published an annual feature highlighting the achievements of women in business, but for the first time we wanted the spotlight to shine on those under the age of 36.

The response we had was tremendous. Impressive nominations highlighting the achievements of young women in all types of businesses and organisations across the county. Their talent, energy and enthusiasm shone through.

Out of that list, with the help of our independent judging panel, we’ve chosen a selection of younger business women that we believe are making a real difference and who are pointing the way to a bright future for Lancashire.

We hope their stories on the following pages will inspire others, and as in previous years we publish the list in no particular order, with genuine thanks to everyone who got involved.
