Two team members at Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors have achieved qualification success


Bolton-based Little Lever School enlisted the support of Stone Create of Leyland to develop a new vibrant website that had the added capabilities of remote learning for more than a thousand pupils. Stone Create’s Liz Clark said: “In the final weeks of the website build process, it became critical that we completed the project ahead of deadline due to the unfolding coronavirus pandemic. In addition to this, we were able to work reactively with the school, to not only complete the initial project, but also by adapting website functionality to allow students to access their online school work quickly and easily from home.”


Plau, a historic family-owned pub in Preston, won the Conversion Award at Camra’s Pub Design Awards. The building, originally constructed in 1668, was turned into a pub in 1795 but had been closed for 105 years before husband and wife team, Jeremy and Rebecca Rowlands, brought it back to life.
