However, putting aside these potential pitfalls for the moment, to ensure that the training offered is of the highest standard it can achieve, NADC has an appointedTraining Committee which reports in to the NADC Management
Board. The Committee is responsible for recommending to the Board which new qualifications should be developed and reports to the Board in respect of any NADC qualification issues whichmay arise. NADC is the effective owner of qualifications that have been approved by EU Skills and which are part of the NADC framework. TheTraining Committee approves the appointment of NADC recognised trainers in order to sustain the highest quality of training and qualification provision and sets the required qualification criteria for trainers to apply for recognition by NADC. NADC trainers are appointed to provide training in specific regions and this extends beyond England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland. NADC has a memorandum of understanding with the National Drainage Academy which is independent of NADC and which actively promotes NADC qualifications. NADC trainers are responsible for setting their own course fee structures and for arranging the booking and invoicing of
candidates. They are responsible for submitting all course paperwork for NADC qualifications to the external verifier appointed by NADC and EU Skills which then issue the successful candidates cards to provide practical evidence of the qualifications that they hold. NADC maintains a direct relationship with EU Skills through which all NADC qualifications are accredited. NADC offers the following certified training courses which are written specifically for all local laws for Health and Safety andWelfare including regional variances with the added feature of incorporating Codes of practices for sewerage in England,Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Republic of Ireland.
