information. Enabling the readout of this information when operating a high-pressure machine from a distance also improves the safety of operatives.

RioCom units are mounted on a Mitsubishi Fuso chassis. The Euro 6 engine in the Fuso includes a Duonic gearbox with a range of features aimed at lessening driver fatigue, particularly when working in congested areas. The dual-clutch gearbox allows manual gearshift mode to be selected, whilst crawl and idle, start/stop functions aid manoeuvrability and significantly reduce carbon emissions.

In the not-too-distant future, Mark Cox expects that the ongoing switch to electric vehicles will also become a reality for the drainage tanker sector saying: “We were the first company in the world to develop an all-electric high-performance jetter and we now have units operating successfully in London and Amsterdam. When installed in an electric vehicle these units are 100% carbon neutral. As lithium-ion and other battery technologies develop, we will inevitably see all-electric tankers on the roads of our cities.”

Roadvacs – Roadvacs is proud to be able to showcase the enhanced safety features of some of the products it puts forward in the UK and Irish markets. In partnership with Muller, the company ensures that the operator is working with equipment of the highest safety and quality. Both the Muller Frontliner and Helicopter exemplify these features that aid in the safe working, in hazardous conditions and in busy traffic areas.

The Muller Helicopter has several safety features that it is claimed make it unparalleled when it comes to ensuring the protection of the operators and the public. For example, the new MC Truck4Cam offers the operator an all-round view from a bird's eye view while manoeuvring the vehicle and during sewer cleaning. This is made possible by four cameras arranged around the vehicle. As a result, the operator has everything in view and can ensure their own safety as well as that of other people.

The Helicopter 360° boom has an unmatched working range and as such has the ability to reach difficult to access areas without any danger. The ability to park away from the dangerous traffic situations and still reach the shaft is a key aspect of this vehicle where the operator can even operate the vehicle from the driver’s cab.

With the Muller Frontliner if you want to work flexibly, overcome greater suction depths, run suction and flushing hoses compactly, be independent of spatial restrictions, protect the vehicle operator from road traffic and aerosol pollution then like its big brother HELICOPTER 360-6, efficiency and safety are also available with the FRONTLINER 200-6.

The Frontliner, similar to the Helicopter, has the ability to take away the danger of trailing hoses. With its 200° working range, the frontliner can position both the suction and flushing hoses in exactly the correct place that maybe difficult to access. The worry of trailing hoses is removed as it does not matter whether operators pivot, telescope, raise or lower the boom, both hoses
