NADC announces new programme of benefits for members
The National Association of Drainage Contractors has announced that it is introducing a new range of benefits to add to the existing benefits it provides its members.
Existing benefits include a 10% discount on all NADC training courses, a free copy of Drain Trader each month, access to support and advice as well as NADC Guidance documents, not to mention many special offers from supplier members, including discounted insurance premium rates.
The new benefits include major optimisation of the ‘Find a Contractor’ feature on the NADC website, which will enhance the level of business directed to members from this source. Initial steps taken towards optimisation have yielded excellent results on which to build.
The existing NADC Hydrant and Waste Site 66
data App will be developed to include a host of new features. These include a work flow process whereby NADC members can place work with each other and through which members can advertise spare capacity, something which water companies have expressed interest in accessing. There will be a feature for all supplier members to promote special deals for NADC members (only) that will create an alert on the App, and all NADC advice and guidance documents will be available through the App as well as news bulletins. All elements of the App except the Hydrant and Waste Site data features will be free to NADC members.
One of the best new benefits will be the Van Assist programme that will be free to members for the first 12 months. Basically if a van is involved in an accident or

simply breaks down, a replacement is brought to the roadside so that the member can continue to work. The programme also comes with fuel cards that save 3p on the price of diesel and 2p on the price of petrol, and the cards can be used by all members of the contractors family.
And it doesn’t stop there! A new specialist health insurance product will be available for members as well as access to a utilities broker who can save members significant sums on energy, water, telephone and broadband bills.
We will also introduce access to a range of specialist services including human resource, legal and health and safety advice.
Ultimately it is NADC’s intention that membership more than pays for itself.
