ADVERTORIAL
Pump Technology Ltd
Floor-mounted sewage lifting stations are a compact solution for removing wastewater and sewage from commercial buildings to the public sewer when gravity drainage is not available.
The Compli range, available from Pump Technology Ltd, the Uk’s largest authorised Jung Pumpen GmbH distributor and stockist, is the benchmark for applications such as offices, gyms, restaurants and similar locations.
The latest developments to the Compli 400 single pump head, with a vortex free flow impeller capable of pumping soft solids up to 70mm, make it more capable and easier to install and maintain. It is an example of why the system is so popular with public health engineers and installers alike.
The tank is larger in volume now, 38 litres, and has a total of 4 inlet positions, including horizontal and vertical options. The rear inlet is completely variable in vertical adjustment, making it easy to fit to any pipe height. The pressure outlet can be DN80 or DN100.
Features such as the rigid float arm, heavy duty Jung Pumpen vortex pump, robust PE tank and metal pump mounting plate to the PE tank are just some of the elements that sets the range apart from systems with a domestic heritage.
The Compli is IP68 rated so it can operate in wet areas that could flood. For this reason, the tank needs to be secured to the floor. New tank clips make this straightforward for the installer, who simply needs to connect the pipework, then drill and screw the tank in place to the concreate mounting base. This prevents the tank from floating if its operating environment is ever flooded.
The pump’s volute is also now an integral part of the tank moulding. Hydraulic performance and fluid flow behaviour has been improved, meaning fewer pumping cycles and less potential for clogging. All units come complete with their own control panel.
The Compli 400 is capable of servicing multiple toilets and sinks and can pump up to 7m closed valve head.
