At the National Drainage Awards 2024, we had the privilege of awarding a posthumous Award to Ray Smith, whose contribution to the drainage industry has left an indelible mark. Ray’s dedication, passion, and leadership and particular focus on training and competence continue to inspire. Ray was part of the NADC journey from the outset and contributed greatly to the growth and development of the Association.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy to the industry will live long into the future.
