Walter Day


On 22nd February our in-house chief economist, Dr Walter Boettcher, joined us in Bristol to deliver presentations and facilitate discussions on the South West & Wales economy. Walter spoke at an in-house client breakfast before visiting six Bristol companies to deliver his interesting and insightful market commentary, which was enjoyed by all.


Young Guns


On a chilly day in March, the Colliers Young Guns – a group comprising of the junior surveyors in the Bristol office – attended Ladies Day at Te Cheltenham Festival for the second year in a row. Eleven clients were invited to join us, and there was a broad range in attendance across a variety of sectors, including guests from CBREGi, Oval Neo Real Estate, M&G and RBS Corporate Real Estate Banking. Everyone enjoyed placing a few bets on the horses, with some being more successful than others – though the great atmosphere was enough to compensate for any losses! With new exciting business relationships being formed as well as experiencing the excitement of the Races, it was a great day out and we look forward to attending again in future.
