Getting here
Getting to college couldn’t be easier. Petroc is conveniently located just outside Tiverton town centre, with easy access to buses, cycle routes and footpaths, as well as the A361 which links Tiverton directly to the M5.
Walking to College
We have many pedestrian routes leading to our Campus. Tiverton town centre is just 20 minutes away by foot. Cycling to College
The footpath along Bolham Road has a designated cycle lane and provides easy access to Lea Road and Moorhayes Park. We are a short distance from the Route 3 cycleway, leading to the town centre. Secure bike lockers are available on-site and showers and changing rooms are located in our Fitness Centre.
Buses
Our nearest bus stop is located just outside the main entrance, on Bolham Road, with an additional stop just a 5-minute walk from the Campus, on Kennedy Way. Buses serving Exeter, Cullompton, Uffculme, Bampton, South Molton and many other locations collect learners from here. Alternatively, Tiverton bus station is a 20-minute walk from Petroc. The majority of buses serving the area surrounding Petroc are timed to co- ordinate with the start and end of college. You may be entitled to assistance with your transport costs; check

Trains
Tiverton Parkway train station is 10-minutes by road from Petroc, via the A361. The station provides connections to destinations such as Exeter, Plymouth and Taunton, as well as Bristol and London. Please note, however, that connecting buses from Tiverton Parkway to the town centre are limited and do not currently enable travel in time for the start of the college day. Therefore, if you are considering travelling to college by train, please contact the Guidance Centre, on 01884 235245, for more information.
Driving to College
Petroc is easy to reach by road. We are situated just off the A361, less than 10 minutes from the M5, and approximately 1.5 miles from Tiverton town centre. Our car parks are monitored from 8.30am – 5.00pm (term time only) and annual parking permits can be purchased at the start of the academic year. Daily pay and display tickets can also be purchased.
