How has business been in 2019? It's been another year of growth and we hit 11 million passengers for the first time. With the launch of four new destinations – Iguazu, Argentina; Medellin, Colombia; Fortaleza, Brazil; and Panama – we are continuing our Latin America expansion.


What markets are you targeting in 2020? Developing our corporate and MICE markets, we have just

New routes for 2020? We will continue to launch new services to Latin America, with even more benefiting from the Dreamliner experience as the new 787-900 Dreamliner enters our fleet.


What have the highlights been in 2019? One of our biggest was the AMResorts Summer Vibes tour when we took our “carnival- style” event to cities across the UK with delicious cuisine, beverages, live entertainment and more. The positive reaction from travel agents was fantastic.


Developments to look out for in 2020? We have some very exciting hotel openings in 2020. On 31 January, family-friendly Now Natura


Riviera Cancun will open featuring a lazy river, waterfalls and grotto bar. Opening on 1 February, adults-only Secrets St Martin Resort & Spa, the first for AMResorts on the island, will offer luxurious suites and the largest infinity pool in the western Caribbean.

How have SunSwept bookings fared in 2019? The wellness market has remained strong and we have seen a rise in people looking for an all-inclusive, luxury wellbeing escape.

What is the top reason to stay at your resort? Luxury combined with sustainability and a sense of community. UNICO 20°87 has redefined the all- inclusive experience with locally resourced natural and handmade materials.


How are your top source markets performing? Our top three markets – US, Canada and UK – have seen an increase in bookings this year. We work closely with


tour operators, agents and airlines, and we have reached an average occupancy of 82%.


Any new developments for 2020? More for guests under the food and drink umbrella; new spa, wellness and fitness experiences; plus new romance packages.
