Te youth have been enjoying a
summer program full of hikes, amusement parks and a service trip with the Gleaners in the Okanagan. Tey worked hard as a team for a full week to process local pro- duce into soup servings that are donated to relief organizations around the world.
We enjoyed having Don Perkins
from According to Prophecy Ministries (
according2prophecy.org) lead us through a timeline from the book of Revelation. He taught us the importance of studying Bible Prophecy which validates the Bible as the source of truth through the proph- ecies which have been fulfilled and those which we will witness in the future.

Vita Bible Church Vita, Manitoba Jonathan Coutts, Pastor
vitabiblechurch.com Our six baptismal candidates shared
how they have made mistakes, but God has forgiven them and is giving them the strength to move forward. Teir faith is stronger because of their struggles. It’s encouraging to see how God is working in all stages of life including teenagers, a young married man, and an older man. Te baptism service was held on June 9 at the church, and they were accepted into membership on June 16.
Instead of having VBS this summer,
we decided to have a one day Kids’ Camp. Twenty-three children from kindergarten through grade six joined us for the day. Kids sang fun songs with a “Go Fish” CD, made a heart with string art and a beaded cross for a key chain, played games (soccer, a nature scavenger hunt and an obstacle course), listened to a missionary story about Ringu, and had snacks and lunch. Everyone had fun while learning more about Jesus.
Pastor Jonathan did a summer
sermon series on Jonah. Each Sunday he called the children up to the front before the sermon to talk about Jonah. One Sun- day, he showed them sackcloth and ashes to illustrate how the Ninevites repented. Te children were given papers to draw what they heard in the story.

Te Youth Drop-In Centre continues
to be open on Mondays evenings. Weekly God Talks present the gospel and are always a time of learning and discussion. Te staff enjoy hanging out with the youth in an informal setting.

Martensville Mission Church Martensville, Saskatchewan Justin Klassen, Pastor
martensvillemissionchurch.com June began with the Martensville
Buster Days. We entered a float into the parade to give us a great opportunity to hand out VBS invitations to children all along the parade route. Approximately 3,000 invitations were handed out. We are hoping for a crowd at VBS!
Te month of June marks the end of
countrysidebible.net Tis past summer, the Lord has
shown his faithfulness and blessed the transition of our new pastor Jonathan Dale. Jonathan has been teaching us through the book of Colossians during the morning service. During Sunday evenings, he has been teaching Psalm 119. We praise the Lord for bringing him and his family into our fellowship.
Our deacons invited the church
family to a cook-out at the Meade State Park Artesian Well. Tis annual event is a sweet time of fellowship for our church members and an opportunity to invite friends from outside the church.
Fall ministries are starting up again.
Many Countryside people work in various ministries that take place in town. Tese Awana® clubs for children ages two years through eighth grade include Cubbies®, Sparks®, TNT® and Trek®. Tey help kids learn what it means to be strong children and youth who faithfully follow Christ. TLC (Teens Living for Christ) encourages and equips our high school students to love Jesus Christ and to live radically for him.
Men’s and women’s studies are also
beginning. Men will be reading the book Maturity by Sinclair B. Ferguson and
the season for various activities. School is out! And for two young people in our church family, it meant the end of a chap- ter as they graduated from grade 12. Our Grad Recognition Service was held during the July 7 morning worship service. Our Sunday School also wound up for the season on June 9 and celebrated with a barbecue lunch. Weather can sometimes impact these sorts of things, and at the last minute, plans changed from having lunch in the park to having lunch in the church basement. Aſter lunch, those who didn’t mind the wind were invited to the park for a time of fun and games. Te Youth ended their season with a camping trip to Rosthern Valley Park on June 27–28.
A men’s fishing trip in June provided
an outreach opportunity for the men to invite others who may not be part of a church.
Kevin Stone, FEBC President, was
with us once again on June 16. He spoke on “Connecting — with God, with the Church, with the Local Church, and with the Community”.
VBS was held the week of August
12–16. Te theme this year was “Roar! Life is Wild; God is Good.” It was an exciting week to focus on God at the end of summer.
