A typical Sunday school at our

church consists of three adult classes, a high school Sunday school class, and class- es for grades Pre-K through Jr. High. Tis summer all adult classes are combined to study “Behold Your God” by John Snyder. Tis 12-week video series is strengthened with a daily devotional workbook. Stu- dents are diving deeper into God’s Word to rethink God biblically.

Last, but not least, we are excited to

welcome Jonathan Dale as our new pastor along with his wife Nora and their young family. Jonathan completed his studies this spring at Te Masters Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. Tey moved into the parsonage the end of May and were welcomed by the church family. We are so thankful to the Lord for His provision of our pastor and are so excited to have their

family finally with us! Rachael Wiens, Correspondent

Crosspoint Bible Church Omaha, Nebraska Michael Boyle, Interim Pastor crosspointbible.org We celebrated our annual Hearts

for the Harvest in March with a goal of $15,000 to be shared by several missionar- ies. We thank the Lord that our goal was exceeded! A total of $16,591 was collected for those projects.

Many counties in Nebraska were

damaged or complete towns destroyed by flooding in March. Crosspoint Bible Church took up an offering, and Chad Petersen, from GAMe Ministries, who attends Crosspoint, organized teams to serve those communities in cleanup and restoration efforts. As of the latter part of May, more flooding had occurred, and the disaster relief fund and cleanup efforts will continue.

Palm Sunday services included a

musical by children from kindergarten through sixth grade. Tis skillfully presented the gospel. On Good Friday evening, the congregations joined together in a service which included our Adult Choir and Communion.

At the spring close of our Awana

program, leaders, parents, and children gathered for a cookout followed by an Awards Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of over 200 children. We offer a huge thank you to all of the leaders for dedicating their time each week to teach God’s Word and to share his love.

At a Crosspoint in Action event on

May 11, several families assisted at Open Door Mission by sorting and organizing donations in the store for those who need them.

Grad Night for all the high school

seniors took place on May 15 at the church. A beautiful banquet and program honored them for their years of study. In the church narthex, the names of the four- teen high school graduates, the five college graduates, and the one MBA graduate were posted on an easel.

An evening was set aside at church

during the first week of May to learn about and pray for the Muslim world. Paul Boeker led the group, presenting a video of the work among the Muslims in various countries, those who are our neighbors, and how to pray specifically for them. Crosspoint Bible Church currently has four missionary couples who are directly touching the Islamic World in Niger, Italy, Africa, and in the Omaha area.

Countryside Welcomes New Pastor by Rachael Wiens

Aſter 11 months without a pastor, Countryside Bible Church of Meade, Kan., welcomed Jonathan Dale and his family to its commu- nity. Jonathan and his wife, Nora, grew up in the Imperial Valley of sunny California. Tey met at Imperial Community Church while Jonathan was working as a lay youth pastor and were married on April 5, 2008. Tey have three sons Peter (9), Caleb (5) and Sam (3).

Jonathan graduated from the University of California Riverside in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics. Trough online

classes, he received a Master of Arts in educational studies from the University of Phoenix in 2014. Recognizing a God-given desire to pastor, Jonathan began studies at Te Master’s Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree in May 2019.

While at Te Master’s Seminary, Jonathan and Nora became members of Grace Community Church. At Grace, Jonathan served

as a paid intern to write and edit curriculum for the Sunday evening children’s ministry. He also served as an intern for fourth through sixth grade Sunday School.

Jonathan applied to Countryside Bible Church in 2018. Tey were invited to visit Countryside with their family in January 2019.

Aſter this visit, the congregation voted unanimously to call Jonathan as pastor. Te Dales moved to Meade in May. Te people of Countryside praise the Lord for his goodness in bringing the Dales into their church family!
