TRIED AND TESTED TPS/I

Fronius has expanded its tried and tested TPS/i series to include the TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE power sources with an integrated wirefeeder. The new entrants, designed for welding currents of up to 270 A and 320 A

respectively, combine the outstanding features of the TPS/i platform in an extremely compact housing, and are equally suited to MIG/MAG, TIG DC and MMA welding. These power sources can be used anywhere, and with their space-saving construction, are the ideal solution for mobile applications in workshops and on construction sites.

The TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE (TPS 320i C PULSE shown) are designed for welding currents up to 270 A or 320 A respectively and combine the outstanding features of the TPS/i platform in a particularly compact housing

Despite their compact design, the TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE leave nothing to be desired in terms of performance and flexibility. In addition to the pulse welding package included in the scope of delivery, the proven standard welding package from Fronius is available as an option, as well as packages for LSC (Low Spatter Control) and PMC (Pulse Multi Control) processes developed for the TPS/i series.

Numerous pre-prepared characteristics and useful functions simplify the welding process, such as SynchroPulse for achieving flaking in the weld seam similar to that of TIG welding.

Carefully considered details, including colour-coded wirefeeder rollers corresponding to the wire diameter, a viewing window to quickly check how much wire remains and an easy-to-understand user interface, also make it easier to use the welding system.

Furthermore, numerous equipment options and a wide range of accessories, such as gas or water cooling, a remote control or a handy PullMig welding torch, enable the devices to be adapted quickly and easily to the specific circumstances and range of applications. As the fully digitised power sources can access the internet, it is extremely easy to upgrade and update the software on site. The new devices are available for all standard mains voltages and mains frequencies, meaning they can be used worldwide. The TPS 270i C PULSE and TPS 320i C PULSE enable welders to achieve outstanding results with high repeatability and boast maximum productivity in any given location, even under extreme conditions. l

AUTOGRIND MODULE FOR ULTIMA-TIG

BH Tungsten grinders are proud to announce the launch of the new AutoGrind module for the Ultima-Tig tungsten grinder. This module retro fits to any Ultima-Tig or Ultima-Tig-Cut grinder in a matter of minutes. The automatic grinding of the electrode gives a precise, uniform and repeatable result every time. The ergonomic solution means arm and wrist strain is eliminated by the automated grinding action. Waiting time is drastically reduced as the operator can prepare the next electrode whilst the previous one is grinding thus speeding up production time. The high rotation speed reduces the grinding time. The AutoGrind unit operates on a "one button" system which not only turns the AutoGrind unit on, but also the grinder. When grinding is finished the AutoGrind and the grinder both switch off automatically, giving a power saving. The Autogrind is available from stock for next day delivery. l
