BOC'S GAS & GEAR CANNOCK RETAIL UNIT – NOW BIGGER AND BETTER
BOC, the UK & Ireland's largest supplier of industrial gases and medical gases and the largest welding products distributor in Europe, welcomed the Chairman of Cannock Council, Maureen Freeman, and Cannock Council's Planning & Economic Development Services Manager, Glenn Watson, to a ceremony to mark the official opening of its newly extended and refurbished Gas & Gear retail unit at Cannock in Staffordshire.
The enlarged store, which is open to the general public as well as trade, carries the full range of products and services from BOC, a Member of The Linde Group. Collect customers can choose from work wear and personal protective equipment to gas and welding equipment, industrial products and power/hand tools, backed by BOC's high quality service and accredited standards. The store also offers a delivered service for local customers.

Chairman of Cannock Council, Maureen Freeman officially opened the unit. BOC's Gas & Gear Cannock store employs 3 people and supplies industrial, hospitality and medical gases, welding and safety products across Staffordshire. Customers include local hospitals and a vast array of local businesses from virtually all industrial sectors, such as metal fabrication, automotive repair and maintenance.

HELP FOR HEROES
One of the customers of Anopol, Precision Micro, is celebrating its centenary by contributing to Help for Heroes, the UK veteran’s charity. They have chosen an icon of WW1 and produced 200 packs featuring their 2D chemical etching
production process to produce, in 0.3mm stainless steel, the parts for a 3D model of a Sopwith Camel airplane. The price of a pack, which is available on ebay, is £15.00 and all the proceeds from sales will go to the charity. In simple words, they are
