18 NEW ENTERPRISE ZONES The government recently announced 18 new
Enterprise Zones and extended 8 zones. In total there will be 44 Enterprise Zones in England – 18 new, 24 existing (of which 8 have extensions), plus Blackpool Airport and Plymouth Enterprise Zones which were previously announced in the Budget that took place in March 2015. The 24 Enterprise Zones established in the last Parliament have laid down the foundations for success for the new programme. The latest data release for the existing 24 Enterprise Zones has been published.

BUDGET ANNOUNCEMENT
The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, has announced that the government will publish its next Budget on Wednesday 16 March 2016. The Budget sets out the government’s plans for the economy based on the latest forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility, as well as any proposals from the government for changes to taxation. l
STEPHEN BARNES – OBITUARY
It is with great sadness that BOC Gases Ltd has to announce the death of Stephen Barnes on 8th September 2015.
Stephen represented Lincoln Electric UK for four years in the South East and later moving to BOC in 2006, through both these positions he supported many clients and colleagues in the welding industry leaving a lasting impression. Stephen leaves behind his wife Sue, son Chris and daughter Janice including many colleagues at BOC who will all miss him enormously. The Funeral took place on the 7th October at Cambridge crematorium. l
