2 022 Read e rs’ Issue How have you seen God at work in the life of your church and ministry?
We have people who never joined us in worship join us online, then in person because of the live stream. We even have regular attenders (and givers) who live out of state and out of the country. We’ve also seen our Sunday morning volunteers’ willingness to learn new things. Our crew has grown closer as we’ve adapted to both/and worship, i.e., simultaneous in-person and streamed services.

Flexibility in responding to the demands of a COVID world. The pastor live streaming worship and my ability to help do that with worship leadership and singing. Also, in people’s faithfulness in the midst of difficult times – willingness to help each other and reach out to those in need.

I knew our choir was very dedicated but I was surprised and blessed with how many were willing to come out each week and rehearse 12 feet apart to provide recorded music for our congregation. It was such a blessing to be able to still help lead the congregation. I thought it would be nice but it turned out to be far more of a blessing for all of us than I expected as well as the congregation.
