T


hese verses are a big sigh of relief for me. I want them printed big,


on a wall, and I want to sit on the floor and stare at them.


I’m not God. You’re not God. Politicians are not God. Pastors are not God. Doctors are not God. NO ONE IS GOD BUT GOD ALONE.


All of us, every one of us, all over the world, belong on the floor, side by side, no one higher than the other, sitting companionably close, contemplating the verse above.


God’s thoughts are not the same as ours. God’s ways are not the same as ours. As unfathomably high as all of space is above the earth, so are God’s ways higher than our ways and God’s thoughts higher than our thoughts.
