There’s no disputing Voyage Belek Golf & Spa is a sizeable resort. And some might say that the best thing about it is that guests don’t ever have to leave: the facilities here are excellent and the crew behind the brand have thought of everything. Guests will arrive and be greeted with
exceptional service — think Champagne flutes, Turkish delight and chocolate-covered strawberries from the moment they walk through the front doors. From here, look up for views of immaculate gardens and the sea just beyond.
THE BEACH Like any self-respecting beachside resort, Voyage Belek sits on its own private stretch of beach — a 300-metre curve of flour-soft sand, edged by sea, which is always tempting prospect on a sweltering day. Guests hang out on sun beds where soft beach towels are speedily replaced, dozing in the shade of umbrellas and cooling off in the water.

mojitos, ice cream and delicious little morsels will keep appearing as the day draws on. And what’s a resort without pools? The resort has six of them, from a heated garden pool, to an adult pool, a kids’ pool and the laguna pool — exclusive to villa guests. For watery thrills, head on over to the aqua park where kids and grown-ups shoot down towering slides and dive bomb into pools, while tots paddle safely about the shallows.
SPORT AND SPA With the Montgomerie Golf Course next to the resort, golf lovers are drawn here from far and wide to test out their swing and skills over 250 acres designed by pro golfer Colin Montgomerie. An acclaimed 18-hole course, it’s also hosted the European Tour. But it’s not just golf keeping the sporting spirit soaring. Want to get your heart racing? There’s aerobics and badminton, beach volleyball and tennis, plus mini football, darts, archery, bowling and a games centre. Make a
beeline for the beach and you can kayak straight from the shore, or windsurf or jet ski beneath the beating sun. Spend a languid afternoon pedal boating
on the glassy sea, or those with a head for heights can parasail beyond the shore, gazing down at the resort and the distant bob of boats drifting along the horizon. If all that action causes aching limbs, head to the Sense Spa for the free-to-use Turkish Bath, sauna, steam room and shock shower. New to the resort this year is a comprehensive
selection of invigorating treatments, from classic facials and massages to more intense therapies. There’s Pressotherapy that rejuvenates and promotes lymphatic drainage, reducing cellulite and boosting tired and heavy legs. Then there are Shiroabhyanga Massages, also known as ayurvedic Indian head massages. And if you’ve been out on the course all day, the therapists have developed the Golfer’s Massage. On a detox? Grab a green juice from the new Vitamin Bar.
FOOD AND DRINK No one will go hungry at Voyage Belek. As well as finely-tuned buffets in the two main restaurants, there are seven a la carte restaurants to choose from: there’s top-notch Greek, Chinese and Mexican, and there’s Japanese, Italian and a whole space devoted to steak. Children staples are dished up around-the-
clock in the children’s restaurant. Seek out the snack corners when you’re feeling peckish, and you’ll find ice creams, pastries, and Turkish pancakes turned out with feta and spinach. And if your stomach’s rumbling at 3am, you can still find something delicious from Cuisine24 — it’s open 24/7.
FOR CHILDREN There are also dozens of other reasons your little ones will fall for Voyage Belek, not least for its fun and innovative kids’ clubs, split into different age groups. Older children can master the art of pizza-making, throw some shapes while trampolining, and let off steam while taking over
the soft play area. Little hands will relish digging in the sandpit, and there’s also a funfair for nostalgic rides among the scent of candy floss. There’s a whole raft of baby gear to borrow,
too, from pushchairs and bathtubs to cots, bottle warmers and potties. There are even free swim nappies. And when it’s time for some alone time, there’s even a private babysitting service.
ACCOMMODATION The Laguna Duplex Villa is an effortlessly cool, two-floor space with a clutch of VIP frills — think killer pool and garden views, a mammoth, uber-comfortable bed, a terrace that’s the perfect spot for sundowners and relaxing, and direct access to the pool.
