Paul Dallaghan started Centered Yoga teacher
training school while still living in New York City in 1999. There he met his business partner, Jutima Chombhubutr, originally from Thailand. In 2001, they packed up and left to devote their time to study and practice in India. While visiting Jutima’s home country, they found Thailand to be an ideal place for practice and living. So, without a business plan, the early Samahita, Yoga Thailand, was born in 2003, and became Thailand’s first yoga retreat centre. In 2008, in search of the most secluded
part of the island, the centre moved to its current location in south Koh Samui. In 2016, Samahita’s unique signature programme, YogaCoreCycle launched, offering a full schedule of classes to enjoy by the beach. For its founders, Samahita is a way to share
beneficial practices, healthy and nutritious food, all within a harmonious setting. It’s a space of support and practice where people can learn and enjoy yoga in the company of other similar souls.
