IN GEAR
DMM Dragon Cams
My go-to cams. These are reliable, feel and look robust and the colour-coding makes them easy to locate on my rack. I love the extendable slings.

Black Diamond Speed 30 pack
Some days I wear a backpack for 12 hours so a comfy pack is essential. I love the minimal design and the top pouch can be removed when you’re not needing the full 30L. The yellow looks great in photos!

When working outdoors you can never have enough warm clothes and a jacket that can still stay warm when wet is a must. I use this everywhere from summer evenings in the campsite to winter days working at the crag.

Scarpa Helix rock shoes
If I’m spending all day in my climbing shoes, comfort must be the priority. These fit the bill and the soft Vibram sole sticks to the rock really well. I found the rubber also lasts longer than some of my more techy shoes – perfect for climbing on Grit.

Nalgene Bottle DMM Alpha Trad quickdraw
DMM have put a lot of thought into these lightweight quickdraws. The clean nose stops the rope snagging when you’re trying to clip and unclip, and the shape of the snap gate is easy to handle with one hand.

16 | CLIMB. WALK. JOIN.
I’m always trying to reduce the amount of waste plastic I use and my Nalgene has served me well for over five years now. They also work well as hot water bottles when you go camping or as boot warmers!
