TRAVELER CENTRIC PLATFORM


Currently, if I book a trip with an airline and my hotel with another provider, there is no shared view of what my end-to-end journey will look like. At Amadeus, we believe we can make the travel experience more frictionless, and more personalised, if we facilitate an exchange of information between these actors. Amadeus’s Traveler Centric Platform has been developed to offer a


solution to this challenge. The technology offers a new, collaborative way for travel providers across the industry to share customer insights, create new revenue streams and, at the same time, humanise the traveller experience with a more personalised and joined-up service. Each actor serves a small portion of


the same journey – if we can show other players that a trip is disrupted, for example, we can all serve the customer better. A room can be prepared later, or a reservation amended, without the traveller having to do anything. This is a truly personalised experienced. Emerging from the pandemic, the


travel industry is facing new realities. It is a time of huge opportunity; for travel providers to refocus their offer and improve their service to meet and exceed new, more demanding traveller expectations. Travellers are looking for a smoother


trip experience with genuine proactive personalisation and trips oriented towards their needs, preferences and circumstances, every step of the journey.

As we emerge from the pandemic, Amadeus is focused on the traveller like never before, identifying the pain points they face today, and identifying opportunities for improvement tomorrow. A major cause of friction is the failure of major travel actors to


work together – it is a failure to collaborate. We believe there is an opportunity to break silos in the industry and develop a
