Three-centre tour takes flight with Albatross


A new three-centre tour showcasing Scotland, Ireland and Wales will be promoted by Albatross Travel. The provider of group travel packages to coach operators will also unveil a new Albatross Collection Tour which visits the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Ayr; Dumfries House; Drumlanrig Castle and Trump Turnberry.

Canterbury Tales marks its 30th birthday in 2018


The Canterbury Tales – Canterbury’s second oldest visitor attraction after the cathedral – is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with special events. The Chaucer-themed Continuum


Heritage Attraction will hold outdoor activities in its Medieval Story Garden during the Easter and summer school holidays. Visitors can try maypole dancing,


join Knight School, observe medieval medicine demonstrations and listen to tales from a costumed character in the Storytelling Tent. New for 2018 are Campfire Tales, with stories being told around a campfire on Thursday evenings from May to August. canterburytales.org.uk

VisitScotland showcases what’s new north of the border


VisitScotland will highlight new attractions in Scotland, such as the V&A Museum of Design, Dundee. It will open on September 15, with free design galleries,
