passengers (Figure 23) and biggest market in Europe by air transport turnover (Figure 24). Germany dominates Europe’s corporate travel market (Figure 25)
With NDC, we have to request an offer from every airline system [for every search request]. So it depends on the airlines’ systems.” At the same time, he says, the rate of
adoption and volume of NDC-enabled bookings are “not just up to the airlines and the GDSs adopting the system. It is also up to travel agencies [to adopt the system]. It is a lot more complicated. All parties need to be aligned.”
