Are you a fan of the silver fox or more of a Mysterious Girl? Why choose, when you can be both – as guests at this year’s Globe Travel Awards found. They got up close not only to everyone’s favourite daytime TV host, Phillip Schofield – who mixed up some gin cocktails courtesy of Princess Cruises – but also to singer Peter Andre, who had the crowd on its feet with a rendition of his famous ‘90s hit.


That’s before we even get to our celebrity host, John Barrowman, who had the audience in stitches with his irreverent humour, before presenting awards to some of the biggest names in the business. The Globe Travel Awards stage


has played host to some serious talent over the years – from James Corden to Jimmy Carr, Jack Whitehall to Harry Hill, and not forgetting Dame Edna Everage and Michael McIntyre. It’s no wonder this is one of the most-anticipated events in the travel calendar.
