Several attractions from Cumbria will be on the UKinbound stand to promote the Lake District, and its status as a Unesco Cultural Landscape World Heritage Site. They include Tewitfield Marina; Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway; Lake District Estates; Windermere – The Lake District and Windermere Lake Cruises; English Lake District World Heritage Site; English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues, a group of five hotels in the Lake District; and the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in

Stand UKI430 Historic Royal Palaces looks forward to 2019 exhibitions
Historic Royal Palaces will again partner with leading heritage organisations at WTM London under the banner Heritage is GREAT Britain, support the wider VisitBritain GREAT campaign. The HRP attractions will highlight new exhibitions and the return of old favourites. At the Tower of London, there is new interpretation in the Bloody and Beauchamp Towers, the largest and most significant of the Tower’s prison spaces. The Lower Beauchamp Tower has a new introductory exhibition enabling visitors to understand the reasons why people ended up as a prisoner at the Tower. Hampton Court Palace will see the return of Florimania (March 29-31), a festival featuring embroidery with

floral designs, along with flower arrangements. Kensington Palace will hold an exhibition about Queen Victoria, as 2019 marks 200 years since she was born at the palace. Kew Palace and the Royal
Kitchens will re-open on April 19 for the summer season. Following a

The Isle of Man’s tourism board will be at WTM to highlight its appeal to cruisers, tourists and group travellers. The island received a record number of cruise visits in 2018, with 24 ships carrying more than 8,300 passengers, and 6,000 crew. The tourism board will promote
products such as its Go Explore cards that allow unlimited travel on rail and bus services, including horse trams, Groudle Glen Railway
and Laxey Mine Railway – and Go Explore Heritage cards, which provide admission to Manx National Heritage sites plus five days’ travel. The heritage sites include the Manx Museum, Laxey Wheel and Castle Rushen. Two dining attractions will be on the WTM menu: the Steam Railway Dining Car and Snaefell Summit Dining.
