England’s Waterways sets sail for WTM
A new project promoting English canal holidays to overseas markets will be on the UKinbound stand. Developed by the West Midlands
Growth Company and partners, England’s Waterways aims to inspire international visitors to explore canal networks and cultural attractions in the Midlands. It is promoting narrow boating
holidays; walking holidays and waterside cultural breaks. England’s Waterways received funding from the £40 million Discover England Fund. Partners include the Canal and
River Trust; Cannock Chase Council; Coventry City Council; Drifters; Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council; North Warwickshire Borough Council; Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council; Rugby Borough Council; Shakespeare’s England; Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council; Telford & Wrekin Council; Walsall Borough Council; Warwickshire County Council; Worcester City Council.

Body Worlds London museum open for business
Opened in Piccadilly Circus, London, last month, the Body Worlds museum is an exhibition of real human bodies that have been ‘plastinated’. Created by Dr Gunther von Hagens and his co-director and wife Dr Angelina Whalley, the museum features more than 200 anatomical specimens that have been preserved by silicone rubber. Stand UKI400 Staycity makes room for a second Liverpool property
Accommodation provider Staycity is a new exhibitor at WTM London, as it spreads the word about its latest property. Aparthotels Liverpool Corn
Exchange is the company’s second in the city, within walking distance of many of Liverpool’s tourist spots including the Cavern Club, Royal Liver building, Albert Dock, Tate Liverpool and the Ropewalks area. There are 212 apartments in
the Corn Exchange including studios and one- and two-bed apartments. All apartments have a kitchen with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher and hob as well as
