Cambria Destination Marketing Company (DMC) has added a new literary tour for 2019 to its collection of genealogy, heritage and history itineraries. The Welsh DMC is also planning to extend the season for its Snapshot of Wales tours, its five-day guided trips for free independent travellers, and expand its range of products available for inbound tours. Cambria DMC plans to become part of the Cambria Group, along with sister brand Cambria Tours. The Wales Coast Path is marking the seventh anniversary of the country’s 870-mile, uninterrupted trail with the launch of a new walking festival (May 4-10, 2019). Featuring a selection of walks

across Wales’ seven coastal regions, the festival will be based on the theme of discovery to echo Visit Wales’ official ‘Year of Discovery’ in 2019. The walks will be organised by Ramblers Cymru and promoted with the support of Visit Wales. They are designed to suit all walking abilities, from short, family-friendly jaunts to more challenging options.
