NICHE NEWS Cruise line’s 2018 programme offers Greek island-hopping voyage


Voyages to Antiquity to visit 19 new ports


Three Aegean Experience cruises combining a land tour of the Peloponnese with a Greek island-hopping voyage are among the highlights of Voyages to Antiquity’s summer 2018 programme. The five–day tour will take passengers to important sites in ancient Greece including Delphi, Mycenae and Epidaurus; cruise highlights include Crete, for a tour of the Minoan Palace of Knossos, and Delos, the mythical birthplace of the twins Apollo and Artemis. The 2018 season features


19 new ports of call including Geiranger and Flam, which Voyages to Antiquity is visiting on a 15-day Norwegian fjords cruise from Tilbury. It is one of four no-fly cruises


next year – others visit Iceland and sail around the British Isles. A 15-day cruise from Seville


to Tilbury departing June 9, 2018, starts with a voyage on Spain’s Guadalquivir River, and includes a tour to Santiago de Compostela from Vigo. Departing August 20, a 15-day Three Rivers cruise from Tower Bridge in London to Lisbon visits Rouen on the Seine,


Aegean Odyssey


Nantes on the Loire and Bordeaux on the Gironde. In time for the summer 2018 season, Voyages to Antiquity is converting 13 cabins on Aegean Odyssey into single accommodation to cater for the growing demand from lone travellers.
