ADVERTORIAL
Spooky Fun for the whole Family
Halloween is in full swing at Germany’s largest theme park. From September 23-November 5, Europa-Park’s attractions, parade, food and five 4* hotels will transform to reflect the spooky season and eerie figures will drift throughout the park. A new horror event, Traumatica (September 20 - November 4), will also be a highlight this season.
Halloween at the world‘s best theme park has been an unmissable event for both young and old for more than 15 years. Visitors will find 180,000
pumpkins of every shape, size and colour at Europa-Park, 15,000 chrysanthemums, 6,000 maize plants and 3,000 straw bales surrounded by thick spider webs and rattling skeletons that combine to create a wonderfully spooky atmosphere.
Halloween specials Besides the spectacular and unique decoration, a large number of highlights promise fun and variety at Europe’s most-popular theme park. Indoor rollercoaster, Eurosat – renamed Pumpkin Coaster, greets visitors from a distance and invites them to board a speedy ride, while little ones can look forward to some ghoulish face painting in the Halloween Village in the French-themed area. In addition, during the daily
Halloween Parade, witches, ghost pirates, a giant spider and many other creepy creatures will surprise guests throughout Europa-Park. A taste of the new horror event,
Traumatica, is provided by the Mine of Hephaestus in the Greek-themed area, where live performers will chase and vault over the backs of the visitors over 12 years old. In ‘England’, the Jack Water Course will terrify the most courageous of visitors. The coffee cups in the Dutch-
themed area are transformed into ‘Griezelkopjes’ and the Feria Swing in Spain offers a whole new ride experience – going backwards. Numerous pumpkin dwarfs can be discovered by guests of all ages in Grimm’s Fairy Tale Forest. In addition, funny figures and
motifs made of pumpkins on the theme of sustainability are all over Germany’s largest theme park. If you keep your eyes open you’ll find lynxes, bees, spiders and snails.
SPOOK ME! The Europa-Park Musical
Another extraordinary treat returns in the form of SPOOK ME! The Europa-Park Musical. A touching story of love, courage and freedom, while in the Haunted Castle, friendly ghosts are passionate about scaring visitors.
Guests can also book an evening dinner package called SPOOK ME! – The Musical Ghost Banquet. The evening event takes place every Saturday from September 23 to October 28.
Traumatica Evil has taken over in a post- apocalyptic world. Humans no longer walk the surface of the earth. New, unknown creatures rule and spread fear and terror in Traumatica. In the new horror event at Europa- Park, five rival groups fight for control – and visitors find themselves right in the middle of it all.
Europa-Park is open until November 5, 2017, from 9am-6pm. For further information call +49 78 22 77 66 88 or visit www.
