Inghams expands training portal with three new modules

Inghams has expanded its agent training portal with three new modules. The Academy, launched in

March, aims to teach agents about the operator’s Ski, Lakes & Mountains and Italy products. The new modules are: the mountains, featuring advice and top destinations; the best destinations for walking, with information on hikes available; and the best destinations for relaxing holidays for clients looking for a less active break in the lakes and mountains. The portal has video and

interactive courses, separated into modules. To register to use The

Academy, agents should enter their Inghams password at: learning.inghams.co.uk

G Adventures is adding six itineraries to its joint programme with the National Geographic Society for 2018.

The National Geographic

Journeys programme, which was launched in January 2016, now features 83 tours, including four new destinations: Borneo, Mongolia, Botswana and southern Tanzania.

Some of the proceeds from the trips support the work of the not-for-profit society’s explorers and scientists. The extended programme is

a result of encouraging sales, according to the operator. A new brochure is due out in December. The new trips are: 10-day

Botswana & Zimbabwe Safari; six-day Southern Tanzania Safari; 14-day Discover Mongolia; 12-day Wildlife Parks of Tanzania; 12-day Best of Borneo; and 21-day The Great Southern Africa Safari. The Botswana & Zimbabwe
