G Adventures and Nat Geo expand Journeys portfolio

G Adventures and National Geographic are expanding their range of small-group tours in South America and Europe.


New trips cover Bolivia, northern Peru, Portugal, Spain, Hungary and Romania. They include an eight-day


Highlights of Bolivia tour, which visits the Uyuni Salt Flats, from £1,499; a nine-day Explore Northern Peru trip, from £1,879; a 15-day Iconic Portugal & Spain tour, from £2,599; and an eight-day Hungary & Romania Highlights tour, from £1,479. The additions come in the fourth


year of a partnership to create National Geographic Journeys tours, which have grown from 70 tours in its first year to 89 in 55 countries today. A special focus on expanding


tours further into Africa and Asia since last autumn has enabled more travellers to visit Tanzania, Botswana, Mongolia and Indonesia, the operator said. G Adventures has seen a 30%
