Aqua scraps supplements for solos on six sailings
Aqua Expeditions has scrapped its single supplement for solo travellers on six selected 2018 departures. Four of the sailings are for Aria Amazon departures (October 12, November 2, 9 and 16) and two for Aqua Mekong (November 13 and 30). The line’s two ships sail on the Peruvian Amazon and the Mekong.

Voyages to Antiquity offers land tours with Andante
Voyages to Antiquity and Andante Travels have teamed up to launch a series of cruise and land tours in the Mediterranean in 2019. The ‘Only with Andante’ pre and post-cruise extras are available on three Voyages to Antiquity cruises, in May, August and September. One itinerary is Classical Greece & Southern Italy, departing on May 13 from Athens, featuring a visit to Eleusis and private tour of the Sistine Chapel. Prices for the 15-day itinerary lead in at £3,475.

Scenic unveils submarine for Scenic Nepture sailings
Scenic has unveiled the submarine that will offer its Scenic Neptune passengers an underwater experience. The U-Boat Worx vessel can seat six guests and descend 300 metres, and will be used to spot whales and walruses in polar waters, Greek ruins and Caribbean reefs.

Celebrity Cruises unveils ‘Central’ portal for agents

Celebrity Cruises is to launch a new online platform through which agents can access sales and marketing tools, training and learning assets.
The portal, Celebrity Central, launches on October 4 and is the line’s largest-ever investment in a trade resource. For the first time, agents will need only one log-in to access all Celebrity’s trade resources. Through Celebrity Central, agents
will have access to booking platform Airwaves, Celebrity Rewards, Celebrity Toolkit, Celebrity news, Celebrity Campaigns and Celebrity Passport, which will replace Cruising for Excellence. Celebrity Passport will feature
bite-sized, mobile-friendly modules that can be completed in five minutes. Agents will earn stamps in their ‘passport’ for each group of modules they complete. Nicola McNeish, Celebrity Cruises’
head of sales, said: “If you want to do a five-minute module on your way to work – you can now do it.” Twelve agents have worked with Celebrity Cruises for the past year to help develop the agent portal. Celebrity is targeting 5,000
