This swanky seaside community to the northwest of San Diego has innumerable galleries and boutiques, plus three great beaches. La Jolla Cove is the place to snorkel, kayak or watch the seals and sea lions, while the flat, sheltered bay of La Jolla Shores is perfect for families. Prefer something a little more dramatic?
