Saga’s new ships to be all-inclusive with house drinks

Saga’s two new-build ships will be all-inclusive, with the line adding house spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks to its packages. Spirit of Discovery, the first of


the pair of boutique vessels, will become all-inclusive in January 2020, six months after entering into service. Sister ship Spirit of Adventure


will also be all-inclusive when it joins the fleet in August 2020.

Cunard ships to make maiden port visits in 2020


Cunard’s new 2020 programme features several new ports of call for its ships. Queen Victoria will visit seven ports for the


first time in summer 2020: Bornholm, Denmark; Riga, Latvia; Ringaskiddy, Ireland; and Nordfjordeid, Leknes, Bodo and Skjolden, all Norway. There are five maiden calls for Queen Elizabeth: Jakarta, Indonesia; Kushiro, Ishigaki and Tokyo, all Japan; and Seward, US. cunard.co.uk


Avalon slashes prices for Rhine and Danube sailings


Avalon Waterways is offering up to £615 per person off its Active Discovery range of cruises on the Rhine and Danube in 2019.
